== Syntax and Tooling == Elixir is designed to have a clean and readable syntax, inspired by Ruby, Erlang, and Clojure. Some key aspects of the syntax and tooling ecosystem in Elixir include: * Elixir uses a pipe operator (`|>`) to facilitate data flow and composition in a concise and readable manner. * It has an extensive standard library, which provides a wide range of modules for common tasks, such as string manipulation, file I/O, and network programming. * Elixir has a built-in testing framework called ExUnit, which makes it easy to write unit tests and functional tests for your applications. * Elixir also has a package manager called Hex, which allows developers to easily manage dependencies and publish their own libraries.
